SprintTri ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our triathlon analytics dashboard service.

Information We Collect

Information from Garmin Connect

When you connect your Garmin account, we access and store:

  • Activity data: Workout details including duration, distance, pace, heart rate, and other metrics
  • Health metrics: Daily summaries such as steps, sleep, and stress levels (if enabled)
  • Profile information: Your Garmin display name and user ID

We only access data that you explicitly authorize through Garmin's OAuth flow. We do not access or store your Garmin account password.

Information You Provide

  • Email address (for account creation and communications)
  • Payment information (processed securely by Stripe - we do not store card details)

Automatically Collected Information

  • Usage data (pages visited, features used)
  • Device and browser information
  • IP address (for security and analytics)

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and improve our triathlon analytics service
  • Sync and analyze your training data
  • Generate personalized insights and recommendations
  • Process payments for premium subscriptions
  • Send important service updates

Data Storage and Security

  • Your data is stored securely on Supabase (PostgreSQL) with encryption at rest
  • We use HTTPS for all data transmission
  • Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel only
  • We implement industry-standard security measures

Data Sharing

We do NOT sell your personal information. We may share data only:

  • With service providers (Supabase, Stripe) necessary to operate our service
  • If required by law or legal process
  • To protect our rights or safety

  • Access your data through your dashboard
  • Request a copy of your data
  • Delete your account and all associated data
  • Revoke Garmin Connect access at any time

Data Retention

  • Active accounts: Data retained while account is active
  • Deleted accounts: Data permanently deleted within 30 days
  • You can request immediate deletion by contacting us

Garmin Connect API Compliance

SprintTri uses the Garmin Connect API in compliance with Garmin's Developer Program terms. Your Garmin data is accessed only with your explicit consent and can be revoked at any time through your Garmin Connect settings or by disconnecting your account in SprintTri.
