Fan Noise plays real fan recordings (ceiling, tower and box fan) that loop smoothly and keep playing with your screen locked. Set a sleep timer from 15 minutes to 2 hours and the sound fades out gently instead of stopping.

What Fan Noise does

  • Five real fans

    Classic Ceiling Fan, Modern Tower Fan and Window Box Fan are free. Premium adds Industrial Fan, a deep hum, and Quiet Breeze, a soft one.

  • Keeps playing in the background

    Lock your phone and the fan keeps going. Pause or play from the Lock Screen, or send it to AirPlay and Bluetooth speakers.

  • Sleep timer that fades out

    Pick 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour or 2 hours. When time is up the fan fades out over 30 seconds to 5 minutes, your choice.

  • Works offline

    Nothing is streamed: use it on a plane, in a hotel or anywhere without Wi-Fi.

  • Made for bedtime

    A dark screen, a volume slider and an option to stop the sound when a call comes in.

Does Fan Noise keep playing when my iPhone is locked?

Yes. The sound keeps playing in the background with the screen locked, and you can pause or play it from the Lock Screen.

Does the fan sound stop abruptly when the timer ends?

No. When the sleep timer ends, the fan fades out over 30 seconds to 5 minutes (you choose), so the change does not wake you up.

Do I need Wi-Fi or data?

No. All the fan sounds are stored inside the app, so it works offline and in airplane mode.

Which fan sounds are included?

Classic Ceiling Fan, Modern Tower Fan and Window Box Fan are free. Industrial Fan and Quiet Breeze come with Premium.

Is Fan Noise free?

Yes, it is free to download with three fan sounds and the sleep timer. Premium is an optional in-app purchase for the two extra fans. There are no ads.
