Dotlit Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the LED Banner: Dotlit app ("the app") for iPhone collects, why, and what choices you have. The app is published by Endurance Apptitude ("we", "us").
The short version
- Your messages and settings stay on your device. We never receive the text you show on the banner.
- We use anonymous analytics (Google Firebase Analytics) to understand how the app is used. Section 2 lists exactly what is included.
- We process purchases through RevenueCat, using an anonymous identifier, to know whether you have Premium.
- No account and no ads. The app does not ask for permission to track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we do not sell your data.
1. Information that stays on your device

- The app has no server of its own and does not use iCloud sync.
- In show mode the app turns the screen brightness up and keeps the screen on, and restores your brightness when you leave. This does not collect any data.
- Deleting the app deletes this data.
2. Analytics (Google Firebase Analytics)
We use Firebase Analytics to learn how the app is used and improve it. It collects app events (for example "app opened", "onboarding completed", "show mode started", "paywall shown", "purchase started", "theme changed", "language changed"), device and OS information, country, and an app-instance identifier. The app also records whether you have Premium, and when we ask for a review, the star rating you pick and the length (not the text) of any feedback you write.
Analytics never includes the text of your messages. It is not linked to your name or email and is not used to track you across apps.
3. Purchases (RevenueCat and Apple)
Purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to check whether you have an active Premium subscription or lifetime purchase. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID, purchase receipts and the device's country. We never see your name, email or payment details, and your messages are not sent to RevenueCat.
4. Children
The app is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
5. Your choices
- Delete your data by deleting the app.
- Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings.
If we change how the app handles data, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
