Tally Counter Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-10-10

This policy explains what information the Tally Counter app ("the app") for iPhone collects, why, and what choices you have. The app is published by Endurance Apptitude ("we", "us").

The short version

  • Your counters stay on your device. Counter names, counts and the history of every tap are stored only on your iPhone. We never receive them.
  • We do not use analytics. The app contains no analytics or crash-reporting SDK.
  • We process subscription purchases through RevenueCat, using an anonymous identifier, to know whether you have Premium.
  • We have no accounts, no ads, and no tracking across other companies' apps or websites. We do not sell your data.

1. Information that stays on your device

DataWhere it livesDo we receive it?
Counters: name, current count, creation and last-change datesYour iPhoneNo
Counter history: each add, subtract or reset with its date and time (used for Insights)Your iPhoneNo
App preferences (haptic feedback on/off, onboarding seen, last review-prompt date)Your iPhoneNo
  • Data is kept in the app's local storage on your iPhone. The app does not use iCloud sync, has no server of its own and sends no notifications.
  • Insights (Premium) are calculated on your device from your counter history.
  • You can delete a counter with a swipe. If you delete the app, this data is deleted from your device (unless it is included in your own iCloud/device backup, which Apple manages).

2. Information collected automatically

Subscriptions — RevenueCat

Premium subscriptions and purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to check and manage your Premium status. RevenueCat receives:

  • An anonymous app user ID generated by RevenueCat for this installation (we do not use accounts, so it is not linked to your name or email).
  • Purchase information from the App Store: which product you bought, price and currency, transaction dates, trial and renewal/cancellation status, and the App Store receipt/transaction data needed to verify the purchase.
  • Basic device and app information: app version, iOS version, country/store and language, used to show the right prices and offers.

We never receive your payment card details; payments are processed by Apple.

What we do not collect

  • No analytics SDK (such as Google Firebase Analytics) and no usage events.
  • No crash-reporting SDK (such as Crashlytics) is included in the app. If you opt in to share data with developers in iOS settings, Apple may share crash reports with us under Apple's own privacy policy.
  • No contacts, photos, location (GPS), health data, microphone or camera.
  • No email address, phone number or account information.

The app does not request permission to track you (App Tracking Transparency) and shows no ads.

3. How we use the information

  • To provide Premium features and restore your purchases.
  • We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it.

5. Data retention

  • On-device data stays until you delete it in the app or delete the app.
  • RevenueCat purchase records are kept while we use the service, because they are needed to verify and restore subscriptions and for financial and tax records. You can ask us to delete them (see below).

6. Your choices and rights

  • You can use the app without creating an account and without giving us any personal details.
  • You can delete any counter in the app, or delete the app to remove all on-device data.
  • You can turn haptic feedback off in the app's Settings.
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone.
  • Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data. Because we do not know who you are, please email us and, if possible, include the Premium transaction ID from your App Store receipt so we can find the related records.

7. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change how the app handles data, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
