Beavr Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-10-12
This policy explains what information the Construction Calculator: Beavr app ("the app") for iPhone collects, why, and what choices you have. The app is published by Endurance Apptitude ("we", "us").
The short version
- Your calculations and settings stay on your device. We never receive them.
- We use anonymous analytics (Google Firebase Analytics) to understand how the app is used. Section 2 lists exactly what is included.
- We process purchases through RevenueCat, using an anonymous identifier, to know whether you have Premium.
- No account and no ads. The app does not ask for permission to track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we do not sell your data.
1. Information that stays on your device
| Data | Where it lives | Do we receive it? |
|---|---|---|
| The calculations you enter and the results | Your iPhone | No |
| Saved calculations and your calculation history | Your iPhone | No |
| Rafter, stair and material inputs (pitch, span, rise, quantities, costs) | Your iPhone | No |
| Settings such as units, precision and appearance | Your iPhone | No |
- The app has no server of its own and does not use iCloud sync.
- Deleting the app deletes this data.
2. Analytics (Google Firebase Analytics)
We use Firebase Analytics to learn how the app is used and improve it. It collects app events (for example "app opened", "onboarding completed", "paywall shown", "purchase started", "theme changed", "language changed"), device and OS information, country, and an app-instance identifier. The app also records whether you have Premium, and when we ask for a review, the star rating you pick and the length (not the text) of any feedback you write.
Analytics never includes what you calculate: no measurements, results, saved calculations or costs. It is not linked to your name or email and is not used to track you across apps.
3. Purchases (RevenueCat and Apple)
Purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to check whether you have an active Premium subscription or lifetime purchase. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID, purchase receipts and the device's country. We never see your name, email or payment details, and your calculations are not sent to RevenueCat.
4. Children
The app is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
5. Disclaimer
Results are estimates to help with planning. Always verify critical measurements and local code requirements before you cut or order.
6. Your choices
- Delete your data by deleting the app.
- Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings.
If we change how the app handles data, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
